Knights of Columbus Council 16595
About Knights of Columbus (KofC)
The Knights of Columbus was founded as a fraternal benefits and charitable organization by the Venerable Father Michael J McGivney in 1882. We are a group of Catholic men dedicated to sharing the Gospel through our charitable works in the community and showing each other Christ through our fraternity.
St. John Paul II Council 16595
Our council has accepted the challenge to promote the Domestic Church through our Parish by offering not only family focused community events, but also providing families a way to give back to the larger community. While we are a men’s organization, we are also fathers, sons, and brothers and understand that a strong Church is built not only on Christ but the family. We strive to assist our chaplain and pastor to build a strong Catholic community in Southern Johnson County.
Joining the Knights
All Catholic men, 18 years and older, are encouraged to join the Knights of Columbus. Please see the contact information to contact our membership director or Grand Knight for details on the next initiation meeting.
