ST. JOHN PAUL II PARISH IS COMMITTED TO preventing abuse and prioritizing safety.

All parish staff and all volunteers who have contact with youth are required to have ongoing compliance with the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas' Virtus Safe Environment program prior to having contact with youth.
Compliance includes attending an in-person child safety awareness program, submitting to a background check, and agreeing to policies about Sexual Harassment, Child Protection, and Ethical Standards, all standardized by the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas.
Please contact the Parish Office to confirm the status of your Virtus Safe Environment compliance, to learn about how to participate in the Virtus training if you have not previously, or with any questions about the child protection program.
