Volunteer Opportunities in our Community

There are many incredible organizations that need volunteer help in Olathe and the surrounding areas. These organizations need help on an occasional and ongoing basis, from individuals and families.  Below are a couple suggestions!
  • Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas
Help with TurnStyles ThriftStores, Food Pantries, Emergency Assistance Centers, Hope Distribution Center, Friendly Visitors, Hospice, Shalom House, Financial Counseling, Foster Grandparent Program

  • Olathe Pregnancy Clinic
This clinic just opened in 2018, and needs many, many volunteers.  Help with answering phones and receiving visitors, sorting & organizing donations, generally assisting visitors with their visit.

  • Project 1020
Project 1020 provides shelter, support and compassion to all homeless adults while helping them utilize community resources to achieve their goals.  Located at 725 West Park Street, Olathe KS 66061.  To provide a meal for the shelter, call Jim at 913-238-2014.  For other volunteer opportunities, email volunteer@project1020.com
